Isotope Data (Rainwater & Cave Deposits)

Stable isotope records from rainwater and speleothems provide information moisture pathways and on past climate changes respectively, most particularly information that can be used to reconstruct past changes in precipitation and atmospheric circulation. In addition, to understand atmospheric and hydrological processes that influence monsoon, modern isotope observations of rainwater will assist in the interpretation of the paleo-monsoon reconstructions.
